CareFund does a soft credit check to qualify you for our loan products. This soft credit pull does not impact your credit score. We have put in place technology to assess risk without affecting our customers’ credit score so we can better serve you. Your credit score could be impacted positively by making all payments for all of your obligations on time, while late or missed payments may negatively impact your credit score.
We can allow the person receiving the service or their parent or guardian to apply with CareFund.
There are no fees to apply for a payment plan with CareFund. Once approved we may charge a small finance surcharge fee to cover our hard dollar out of pocket expenses for underwriting.
Unless arranged otherwise, your first payment will be due 30 days after the date of loan origination. Certain multi-step procedures may have payments deferred until the final procedure is complete.
Monthly statements are only provided for line of credit products, but borrower’s can check their account status at any time by logging into our borrower portal by clicking the “login” button on the navigation bar.
Payments will be auto-drafted from your bank account or you can login to your account with your credentials to make a payment at any time.
Yes, you will need to have a valid, active bank account to qualify for CareFund.
